  1. One OCR system that I’ve also seen people use is Text Cloner. I believe it’s $99. Pressing F5 will do a basic scan, and pressing F6 will do a more detailed scan. You can get a trial of Text Cloner at http://www.ReadingMadeEZ.com.

    Both Kurzweil 1000 and OpenBook allow for braille translation and embossing.
