Bills guest this week is Marc Halpern, whose website is located at <a target=”_blank” href=” http://findtimeforhealth.com/”>http://findtimeforhealth.com Marc likes to lift heavy things because of what it enables him to do elsewhere in life, like skiing and hiking. He doesn’t eat egg whites and lettuce for breakfast, he eats real food.
As a Registered Dietitian and strength coach, Marc’s philosophy is to keep it reasonable and feeling good. Marc has over fourteen years of experience. He started his journey when he lost seventy pounds in high school. It began a career that has gone from New York, to North Carolina, all the way to Utah.
In addition to working with clients, Marc spends a great deal of time in Dan John’s Lab (aka garage) constantly looking for better ways to do things. He combines evidence-based practice with experience and real-life application. Some of the interview highlights include:

His personal transformation

How to know you are in the right job

Connecting with Dan John

Bill Pearl www.billpearl.com is a true legend in the world of physical culture. With a highly successful competitive career lasting nearly 20 years, he is unquestionably one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time!
He is probably the most traveled Mr. America ever, having gone around the world doing exhibitions and spreading the health and fitness message for nearly four decades!
To his credit he has coached more top level bodybuilders (including 14 Mr. Universe winners, 10 Mr. America’s and one Mr. Olympia) than any other person. He is truly “The Trainer of Champions”.
World class bodybuilder, successful gym owner, author, coach/trainer entrepreneur, husband and father! To say Bill Pearl has done it all is a huge understatement!
Through the efforts of our mutual friend Mr. Olympia, Chris Dickerson, Bill was given the pleasure of speaking with this legend of the iron game. The biggest thing I took away from this conversation was that Bill Pearl is the absolute definition of a gentlemen and a class act!
I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed chatting with this legend of the fitness world:

Podcasts such as serotalk and triple click home have taken on a new format and a new sound, in order to fill a niche, we feel, exists in the community. Who is this “we,” you may ask?
Its the new Serotek content team who wants to introduce themselves to you, and who wants to get to know the community as well.
Have you ever heard of blind hockey? If so, did you scratch your head and wonder how such a visual game could be enjoyed and played by both blind and low vision hockey enthusiasts? This month, Maurie spoke with Kevin Shanley, co-founder of both the New York Nightshades blind hockey club as well as Courage USA, a spinoff of Courage Canada. Kevin spoke of his introduction into blind hockey and his experiences at the annual Courage Canada Blind Hockey Tournament in Toronto, Ontario. Kevin’s hope is to bring the sport below the Canadian border so we can eventually have some true international competition and perhaps be involved in the birth of blind hockey as a paralympic event. Kevin explains how it works and the rule changes that make it possible for blind and low vision athletes to work together and exhibit a pretty impressive athletic competition.
