I am legally blind and have sever cerebral palsy. I bought Kindle but I had to return it because it did not have any way of reading my Bookshare books or any way of reading any commercial books with text to speech. So then I got a Samsung Android and I can read Bookshare books and out of copyright books but still I cannot read any commercial books with text to speech. I have tried Kindle for Android. Kobo, Sony Reader and Google Play. Google Play technically has text to speech but is completely uncontrollable to read a book. I cannot even get it to read the first page it starts in the middle and I can't get it to stop and start at the begining.

Yesterday I tried again to find a commercial book in epub format. Blio does not have text formating options so I can make the text big enough for me to see

Being one blind person to another do you guys have any solutions.

This was a great podcast, as always. I've never had the opportunity to pet a tiger, or anything like that. Also, during the mail bag portion, someone talked about the Seeing Eye GPS app, and were stating that Blind Square was more valuable to them. I would tend to disagree, because I've found it very useful for navigating around my neighborhood, and figuring out where I'm at. I hope more features come in the future that will make this app more exciting. Thanks for doing such a wonderful podcast.
